Acceptable Use Policy

Placeholder draft of the Code Router Acceptable Use Policy — pending formal drafting and legal review.

本页为占位草稿,需正式起草并经法律/律师审阅 / Placeholder draft — pending formal drafting and legal review. The text below is a provisional outline only. It is not a contract, not legal advice, and is subject to change before any public launch.

About this page

Code Router is a unified, OpenAI-compatible AI gateway: you get one API key and one base URL (for example https://ai.sammier.com/v1) to call many model providers, with model groups, token groups, quotas, and usage tracking.

This page sketches the kind of acceptable-use rules a deployment is expected to adopt. The final policy still needs to be drafted and reviewed by qualified counsel before it can be relied upon.

Outline of expected rules

The following bullet points are a neutral starting outline, generally true of any OpenAI-compatible relay. They are not final terms.

  • Follow the law. Use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with the laws and regulations that apply to you and to where the service is operated.
  • Respect upstream provider terms. Each model you reach through the gateway is governed by its own upstream provider's terms, content policies, and rate limits. You are responsible for holding any required authorization for those upstream services and for staying within their rules.
  • No abuse. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the service's quotas, authentication, or access controls, and do not use it to attack or interfere with others.
  • You own your content. You are responsible for the prompts you send and the outputs you use, including ensuring they do not infringe rights or violate applicable content and safety requirements.
  • Keep credentials secure. Treat your API keys as secrets; you are accountable for activity performed with your keys and tokens.
  • Provided as-is. The software is offered without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. (Final liability and warranty language is TBD pending legal review.)

Items still to be defined

These will be completed when the formal policy is drafted:

  • Governing entity and jurisdiction — (legal entity TBD)
  • Enforcement, suspension, and appeal process — (TBD)
  • Data handling, logging, and retention specifics — (TBD)
  • Abuse-reporting and contact channel — (contact details TBD)

Feedback

Until a formal channel is published, questions and reports about this draft can be raised through the project's source repository on GitHub: https://github.com/ssgzy/Router-new-api.
